Prayer and the Governer of Georgia
Judges 6:36-40 (New International Version)
36 Gideon said to God, "If you will save Israel by my hand as you have promised- 37 look, I will place a wool fleece on the threshing floor. If there is dew only on the fleece and all the ground is dry, then I will know that you will save Israel by my hand, as you said." 38 And that is what happened. Gideon rose early the next day; he squeezed the fleece and wrung out the dew—a bowlful of water.
39 Then Gideon said to God, "Do not be angry with me. Let me make just one more request. Allow me one more test with the fleece. This time make the fleece dry and the ground covered with dew." 40 That night God did so. Only the fleece was dry; all the ground was covered with dew.
Here is Gideon doing the same thing and God heard his prayer and honered it...Look people this is how God wants us to do everthing by Prayer and Supplication. Not in our own strengh. What amazes us, the ones that are in the News Media gave it a few minutes or seconds, but very few who are supposed Christians said stop the presses God is speaking , with the blessing of rain on the people who prayed for rain .. Why then does the toast or tortilla that is supposedly Mary or some other figure get more coverage, then the catholics and others say oh that is the work of GOD.. Well God does not reveal himself in a tortilla , or a piece of food , but the foolish and the perveted are blind to a tre miracle of GOD. More coming this week
